About the role
As a Technical Project Manager at Starcodia, you will manage complex Shopify projects including platform migrations, integration implementations and custom development. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, translating business requirements into technical specifications and ensuring smooth delivery.
This role requires both technical understanding and strong project management skills. You do not need to write code, but you need to understand what developers are building and communicate effectively with technical teams.
What you will do
- Lead discovery sessions to understand client requirements and goals
- Create project plans, timelines and resource allocations
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Manage client communication and expectations throughout projects
- Coordinate development team activities and resolve blockers
- Track project progress and report status to stakeholders
- Manage scope changes and budget implications
- Conduct quality assurance and manage user acceptance testing
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
What we are looking for
- 3+ years of project management experience in digital/web agencies
- Experience managing ecommerce or Shopify projects
- Technical understanding sufficient to communicate with developers
- Strong client communication and relationship management skills
- Experience with project management tools (Asana, Monday, Jira, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Problem-solving mindset and calm under pressure
- Attention to detail and quality focus
Nice to have
- Direct experience with Shopify Plus projects
- Understanding of ERP and system integrations
- Experience with platform migration projects
- PMP, Prince2 or similar certification
